If you are looking for a challenge in the mountains to complement the nature experience, you certainly shouldn't miss this climbing adventure packed with stunning vistas. Experience and good equipment are a prerequisite for this, however.
Starting point: Dreiseenbahn mountain station (2300 m), then marked path, approx. 20 min to start.
Descent: marked path from Pockkogel (2807 m) via Finstertaler reservoir to Dreiseen lodge.
Walking time: approx. 4 hours
Material: 550 metres of steel cable, 150 steel pins and 60 foot stirrups have been built into the via ferrata.
