Cross-country skiing – a very healthy endurance sport

Pleasure is also guaranteed off the perfectly groomed pistes of Kühtai and Hochoetz. Kühtai offers eleven kilometres perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails and circular trails on more than 2,020 metres above sea level. There are three trails waiting for you, from easy (blue) to medium (red).

Cross-country skiing – a very healthy endurance sport

Have you already tried cross-country skiing? It is one of the most healthy winter sports that exists and yet easy on the joints. On more than 2,020 metres you can breathe in and through deeply, drive your pulse deliberately up or let it calm down while you cross-country ski in your own speed through the marvellous winter landscape on the classic or on the skating trails. The mind becomes peaceful while the cross-country skis glide over the snow and the body works out. Cross-country skiing is sport and wellness at the same time and an alternative to get active off the piste. This sport is suitable for both parents and children. Rent the equipment and off you go!

Cross-country and circular trails in Kühtai

Eleven kilometres of perfectly groomed cross-country and circular trails on more than 2,020 metres in the most beautiful wintry mountain landscape. The Sport- und Wellnesshotel KONRADIN is located only 300 metres from the medium (red) trails. Beginners can use the free bus that goes to the reservoir Längental where the easy (blue) trails begin. On the following routes you can leave everyday life behind you:

Claudialoipe
The Claudialoipe is a classically tracked trail of medium (red) difficulty. The trail is a circular trail and runs 4 kilometres through the fabulous winter landscape.

Maximilianloipe
The Maximilianloipe is also a classic trail. First it leads 4 kilometres towards Oetz, then there is a curve towards the reservoir Längental where you can either turn around or continue to ski around the reservoir on the Bilgeriloipe. The Maximilianloipe also has a medium (red) level of difficulty.

Bilgeriloipe
The Bilgeriloipe is tracked for classic cross-country skiing, but also for skating. On three kilometres you ski around the Längental reservoir. The trail has an easy (blue) level of difficulty.

Night cross-country skiing
Free night cross-country skiing every day at the Längental reservoir, here about 1 km is lit and groomed.
If you want to thoroughly let off steam on the trails you have the possibility to connect all three trails, Claudialoipe, Maximilianloipe and Bilgeriloipe. These are 11 perfectly groomed trail kilometres!
